Most systems fail before you do.

They were built for a brain that holds the thread automatically — that wakes up knowing what matters, stays on course through interruption, and returns the next day without being told. For many of us, that brain is not the one we have.

ADHD loses the thread to novelty. Autism needs the structure the system promised but never delivered. AuDHD gets both. The tools weren't built for this — and when we stopped opening them, we blamed ourselves.

Nortefy was built on a different premise.

Not that you need more discipline. Not that the right app will finally fix you. But that external scaffolding — calm, consistent, and honest — can hold what working memory cannot, as long as you keep returning to it.

That a system designed to be closed is more useful than one designed to be checked. And that the daily return is the whole engine: a chain only holds if you add a link each day.

The loop runs on a daily mark

Momentum needs the daily touch the way a chain needs every link. Sleep, pitfalls, the day's intentions — the system can only reflect your life back to you if you keep marking it. So the loop is built to be light enough to survive a hard day: under 60 seconds, no catching up, no dread. Open it, mark the day, close it.

The three things we believe

Visibility over memory. What is out of sight is lost — not because you are careless, but because working memory is finite and already taxed. Purpose stays on the page. Direction stays visible. The system remembers so you don't have to.

Calm over urgency. No red states. No shame UI. No notifications pulling you back. We removed the guilt for one reason: guilt is what stops people from coming back — and the system only works if you come back. A ritual you dread does not get done, so the daily loop is calm enough to keep returning to.

Consistency over perfection. You will have hard days. When you miss one, the chain does not zero out — it waits for you to pick it up again. What matters is not a flawless run but the next mark. The record you build this way is honest, unedited, and yours — and it exists only because you kept coming back.

Find your Norte. Align your life.
